Lemmy

Here's a likeness practice of Lemmy from Motorhead. I created this using the 3dscanstore base mesh as a starting point for the head before sculpting in Zbrush, applying 3dscanstore albedo and displacement textures and then adding custom details on top. Additional texture maps were created using Photoshop. I followed the same process for creating the arms, starting from 3dscanstore base arms.

The clothing was creating from scratch using Marvelous Designer, before retopologising and unwrapping in Maya. I then reprojected the high res onto the retopologised meshes in Zbrush before sculpting in additional details by hand. I then baked and textured the clothes in Substance 3D Painter. I followed pretty much the same workflow for all of the accessories as well, using a combination of ZBrush and Maya to create them from scratch. The hair was created using Xgen in Maya and is strand based.

Everything was then set up and rendered in using ray tracing in Marmoset Toolbag.
