Self Portrait

I carried out this project to polish up on my likeness capturing skills - best reference to hand was that of my own head! I used the 3dscanstore average base mesh as a starting point and used ZBrush to get the likeness. I projected a 3dscanstore texture onto the mesh for the base of the tertiary details before adding my own details in on top 'by hand', likewise for the albedo - all other maps were created by hand. I created the eyes using texturingxyz maps to project the details before texturing in Substance 3D. I used XGen to create the hair in Maya using guides and the t-shirt was created in Marvelous Designer and textured in Substance 3D. Everything is rendered out in Marmoset Toolbag 4 using raytracing
