The Shaman (Realtime)

In this project I've attempted to create a realistic next gen character based on the concept of a Neanderthal Shaman. I've designed the character myself, researching different Neanderthal artefacts and adding a healthy dash of artistic license whilst trying to keep the overall feel as realistic as possible.

Everything for the character was sculpted in Zbrush, I then used ZWrap to project base tertiary details onto the body from the 3dscanstore and then added additional details on top by hand. Retopo and unwrap was carried out in Maya, whilst baking and texturing was carried out in Adobe Substance 3D, again adapting a 3dscanstore albedo map as a base for the skin and adding my own details on top. The hair was created in Xgen and is strand based. Everything has been rendered out using raytracing in Marmoset Toolbag 4.
