Here is a personal project undertaken primarily to try and improve my clothing creation skills using Marvelous Designer, as well as to try out a new workflow using the 3dscanstore base mesh and zwrap workflow. I've based it on numerous different statues of Roman women and research into Roman clothing and jewellery.
The primary and secondary forms of the head were hand sculpted by myself and I then used Zwrap to fit the 3dscanstore base mesh head to my sculpt, before reprojecting and using the 3dscanstore texture packs along with tweaks in Zbrush and photoshop for the tertiary details. The clothing was all created from scratch using Marvelous Designer for the patterns, then retopology and unwrap in Maya before reprojecting and creating high res details in ZBrush and baking/texturing in Substance. The accessories were created using a combination of Zbrush and Maya, retopo and unwrap in Maya and bake/texture in Substance. The hair was made by creating curve tubes in Zbrush for the primary shapes before taking those into Maya and using them to generate curves for guides in Xgen, as well as manually placing additional guides.
Rendered out in Marmoset Toolbag.
